When we found the Abbey we absolutely fell in love. It ticks so many boxes – an exclusive use venue, one of a kind architecture and interior design, an absolutely delicious menu, easily accessible by car and public transport yet tucked away in its own private enclave, even a chapel with its own bar that doubles up as a dance floor at night! It’s clear that they’ve lovingly and faithfully restored this former Abbey to its glory days whilst giving it a contemporary twist with a feel of luxury. On the day, we were blown away by the entire team’s attention to detail, attentiveness, friendliness, and warmth, something that was remarked upon by so many of our guests. Cannot recommend this venue enough!

Our guests are still talking about our wedding, everything was perfect. Arizbeth ensured that everything went to plan from the day of enquiry to the moment we said “I Do”. We would 100% recommend The Abbey. The pre meal the night before was a great way to mix with our guests before the wedding and the food was amazing! The venue is beautiful to making for stunning photo opportunities.

We celebrated our big day at The Abbey and it was perfect! Arizbeth is so easy to work with and super accommodating to make sure everything will be perfect! We couldn’t be happier to have chosen the Abbey as our wedding venue, our guests were in love with it, the staff is so kind and nothing is too much for them. Our guests can’t stop talking about the amazing food. The Best man is a chef and even he said that the food was better than some of the 5 star restaurants! We could not have envisaged in our wildest dreams how perfect our wedding day was. The venue was spectacular! The beautifully designed spaces offered us every opportunity to create our own bit of magic. From the chapel, to the garden room and last but not least the ballroom. We made use of all the event spaces and loved the element of surprise as our guests moved throughout the venue on the day. The Abbey and all their team have created memories which we will cherish for the rest of our life.

After 20years together we decided in July to tie the knot and we really didnt want to delay in our planning so when we went to visit the abbey in August, we knew instantly that it was the venue for us and we didn’t look any further. What really sold it for us was the restored chapel, we wanted a venue that catered for our service and reception, allowing for an easy flowing day, with no racing from a to b.

Dermot, Arizbeth and Aofie in the Abbey were out of this world nothing was to much trouble always on hand or at the end of the phone. The venue is breath taking just Perfect in every way possible. We would highly recommend it. We hope to be back to do a family event there next year it was that good.
